1:1 Teaching Assistant – KS1 (Part-Time or Full-Time)

A well-respected and welcoming primary school in Salisbury is seeking a caring and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026.
This rewarding role will involve providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil in Key Stage 1 with additional needs, helping them access learning, build confidence, and thrive within the classroom environment.
We are looking for someone who is:
* Experienced working with children in a school, nursery, childcare, or similar setting
* Passionate about supporting children with additional needs
* Calm, patient, and able to build positive relationships
* Flexible and proactive in adapting support to meet individual needs
* Available on either a part-time or full-time basis
Previous SEN experience would be highly beneficial, but it is not essential. If you have experience working with children and a genuine interest in supporting pupils with additional needs, full training can be provided through our CPD academy, including:
* Thrive Training
* Speech & Language support
* Additional SEND-focused professional development
This is a term-to-term rolling temporary role, offering the opportunity to work within a supportive school environment while developing specialist SEND experience.
Pay: £90–£95 per day, depending on experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
