We are seeking an experienced automotive sales, Business or Transaction Manager to take the role of SALES MANAGER within a busy main dealer team.
This is a ‘hands on’ role and requires a skilled individual who is prepared to both sell and lead the department.
The dealership represents two EV brands with a fast-growing UK presence; offering sporty, urban, tech-focused coupe-SUVs and rugged, off-road-capable, premium-styled SUVs.
You’ll need to be able to demonstrate the self-motivation to approach every opportunity in an enthusiastic and positive manner, ensuring the department maximises its performance whilst providing customers with an exemplary service
You should have a proven track record in an automotive team-leadership sales role, accompanied by strong skills in selling and negotiating.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing the Sales team via a ‘lead by example’ approach.
* Ensuring the dealership meets all appropriate manufacturer standards
* Implementing and maintaining departmental processes
* Ensuring that financial targets and customer satisfaction objectives are met
* Resolving customer issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner
* Monitoring and controlling departmental overheads
* Identifying and implementing coaching and development needs within your team
* Undertaking the full sales process personally to maximise results and income.
