Your impact

As part of Jacobs’ growing Water team based across Dublin, Cork, and Belfast you will play an integral part in helping deliver some of the country’s most important water, wastewater, and flood management projects, playing a key role in shaping sustainable infrastructure that protects communities and the environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across civil, mechanical, electrical, and environmental disciplines - gaining exposure to diverse challenges and innovative solutions across various strategic water resource projects both delivering new build and upgraded assets.

Remit of the role will include

* Deliver detailed design solutions for clean water and wastewater non-infrastructure projects
* Support design-and-build delivery across multiple frameworks
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical excellence and regulatory compliance
* Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns
* Conduct site inspections and assessments to verify compliance with design specifications and quality standards
* Drive innovation and sustainability in water sector engineering

Here's what you'll need

Our recruitment team, would be delighted to hear from candidates with a mix of the following skills and experience

* Experience in the water or wastewater engineering industry
* An accredited Honours STEM Degree (NFQ Level 8)
* Achieved, or working towards, Chartered Status (CEng) with a recognised Professional Institution or equivalent.
* Good motivation, influencing and people management skills so that you can lead a team and provide support for developing engineers whilst continuing to develop your own career.
* Demonstrable solutions focussed technical or design skills.
* Interest in future technologies and knowledge about the challenges within industry, including; data, carbon and sustainability
* Understanding/ awareness of Project Management principals including scheduling, budgeting and contracts
