KS2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Preston
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 3:30pm
Pay: £13.75 per hour

A supportive and forward-thinking primary school in Preston is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.
About the Role:
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting both the class teacher and pupils across a range of subjects. Your responsibilities will include:
* Working with small groups and individuals to deliver targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy
* Supporting pupils to develop independence, resilience, and confidence in their learning
* Assisting with classroom management and behaviour, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Providing feedback to the class teacher to help inform planning and pupil progress
* Supporting with preparation of resources and contributing to the wider life of the school (e.g. displays, school events, educational visits)
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience supporting children in Key Stage 2 is highly desirable, though not essential
* You must have prior experience working with or supporting children in a school, youth or care setting
* A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and the ability to adapt your support to meet diverse learner needs
* Confident, caring, and proactive with strong communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
