Job Description
3. Lead and manage a portfolio of audit clients across various industries
4. Drive business development initiatives and identify new client opportunities
5. Develop and execute strategic plans for the audit practice's growth
6. Maintain and strengthen existing client relationships through exceptional service delivery
7. Provide technical leadership and quality assurance on complex audit engagements
8. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and firm methodologies
9. Manage engagement economics including billing, collections, and profitability
10. Mentor, coach, and develop audit staff and managers
11. Contribute to the firm's thought leadership through publications and speaking engagements
12. Represent the firm at industry events and in the broader business community
13. Collaborate with partners across service lines to deliver integrated solutions to clients
14. Lead risk management processes and maintain audit quality standards
15. Stay current with evolving accounting standards and regulatory changes
16. Participate in firm management and governance as required
17. Drive innovation in audit methodologies and digital audit capabilities
18. Manage and resolve complex technical accounting and auditing issues
19. Provide strategic insights and value-added recommendations to clients
20. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at client organisations
21. Contribute to the firm's culture and values
22. Demonstrate ethical leadership and professional integrity in all interactions
23. Manage partner-level relationships with regulatory bodies and standard setters
The Successful Applicant
A successful Audit Partner should have:
24. A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
25. Proven experience in leading and managing a team.
26. Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
27. Experience in developing and maintaining client relationships.
28. Experience in contributing to business strategy from a financial perspective.
29. Proven track record in business growth and development - this is key.
