Connect2Socialwork are currently recruiting an Assistant Team Manager for the Children with Disabilities Service to join a local authority in South East England.

Whether you are an experienced social worker ready for the next step or an existing Assistant Team Manager we'd like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the leadership, management, and coaching of the team.
Promote and maintain high standards of social work practice.
Support the team in safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children and young people.
Foster effective partnership working with external agencies.
Supervise and support staff, both practically and emotionally.
Deputise for the Team Manager as needed.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills in line with PCF and KSS requirements.

Requirements:

You will hold a degree in Social Work and be registered with Social Work England
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential.
Active Social Work England registration
MUST HAVE: experience within a CYPD Team
