You must be incredibly organised, efficient and dynamic, able to adapt and react in-line with the needs of the business. You must have excellent people skills, capable of both managing and motivating staff. You will need to think ahead and use your own initiative to improve the smooth running and success of the business.
You must be confident enough to challenge situations and make suggestions for improvement. You must be able to work at a strategic level. Experience working in a busy office environment supporting management is essential. You will need to be quick-thinking, comfortable to work under pressure and have exceptional prioritisation skills.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking someone who can provide seamless support to our CEO, enabling him to distance himself from some of the day-to-day business operations. The role will be fast-paced and varied, working across all areas of the business, and engaging with both global suppliers and customers where required.
This role requires someone who can evaluate and assess current systems, then suggest improvements and implement new processes and procedures. The implementation is key – projects must be followed through to completion including training and evaluation.
This is a senior position and requires someone who understands business strategy, operations and efficiency.
Some travel to industry events and meetings may be required.
The role will be based at our head office in Surrey.
RESPONSIBILITIES / SKILLS
· To support the CEO across all areas of the business
· To provide PA services, including organising travel, scheduling meetings, diary management etc
· To provide some office management duties
· To provide administrative support where required
· To assess company operations and suggest and implement improvements
· To ensure business-critical areas are monitored and improved, i.e. H&S, Customer Care, Training & Development
· To develop in-house CRM system for the benefit of the business
· To assist with strategic planning and implementation
· Working with global suppliers to maintain excellent relationships and supply chains
· To work with all department heads and form a cohesive SLT, ensuring accountability across all departments
· To be capable of managing projects from concept to completion
· To provide support in meetings
· To anticipate needs and offer suggestions
· To assist with some personal tasks.
· To conduct yourself for the benefit of the business, our suppliers, our clients and in support of other team members.
· To represent our business and all of our brands professionally and appropriately.
· To be prepared to travel to meetings and industry events.
· To be prepared to carry out tasks outside of your immediate job description when required for the overall benefit of the business.
· Possess exceptional organisation, time management and communication skills.
· To have a keen interest in the beauty and skincare sector would be beneficial.
