ROLE: LCV / Van Technician
LOCATION: Dunstable
SALARY: 35k basic, OTE OF 55k + benefits
HOURS: Monday to Friday 8.00 – 5.30. 1 in 3 Saturdays 8.00 – 12.00 paid @ otime
We are seeking a qualified Service Technician to join our dealership in Dunstable.
Duties
* Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic with technical knowledge – irrelevant of brand, to work at pace
* A team-player who is comfortable operating with set processes and procedures
* A qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry recognised qualification, ideally level 3 but level 2 will be considered
* Ability to carry out MOT’s is desirable, but not essential as full training will be given
* Motivated, dedicated and organised with a focus on Health & Safety in the workplace
* Be Tech savvy with confidence in using an iPad
* Must have experience as a commercial vehicle Technician
About you
* The ability to carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles and brands
* Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, which may include some warranty approved work in line with our brands (subject to experience / training level)
* Be confident in MOT testing duties (if qualified)
* Completing work from job cards and electronic write ups through franchise platforms
* Electronic vehicle health checks (EVHC’s) and video health checks
* Guide and Support Apprentice Technicians as and when required
