Your new role
The Financial Controller will be a key strategic and operational partner to the business owner, ensuring robust financial management during a period of rapid expansion. This role goes beyond traditional financial control, requiring a hands-on approach to building scalable processes, implementing systems, and supporting strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will take ownership of all financial operations, including statutory reporting, management accounts, budgeting, and cash flow management, while ensuring compliance with insurance industry regulations and best practices.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with experience in financial control within insurance or financial services. They should have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, technical accounting, and risk management. A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset is essential, as the role demands adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Experience in implementing new systems, scaling finance functions, and supporting strategic projects will be highly advantageous.
