Job Title: Specialist Occupational Therapist
Salary: Between £38,005.50 - £45,513 per annum, based on 37.5 hours per week, 42 weeks per year
Contract Type: Permanent – Term Time Only - Full Time and Part Time Considered

This is a newly created role where your expertise will be vital. Collaborate with our passionate integrated therapy team to deliver high-quality care and support to our pupils. Your work will help identify and address pupils' strengths and challenges, fostering growth and independence. You will create personalized therapy programs tailored to each pupil’s needs, empowering them to thrive.
A day in the life of a Specialist Occupational Therapist will involve:
* Adopting a neurodiverse affirming and trauma-informed approach within a small caseload
* Assessing, developing indirect therapy programs, providing advice, consultations, and delivering direct therapy
* Working alongside Speech and Language Therapists and Creative Art Therapists
* Designing and delivering training and mentoring for colleagues, supported by the Clinical Lead
To be successful, you’ll need:
* A recognized postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy, with certification in Sensory Integration and Processing, HCPC registration, and RCOT membership
* Extensive experience as an Occupational Therapist
* Ability to contribute to capacity assessments
* Good IT skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office tools is preferred
* A full driving license, as travel to other sites and meetings may be required
