Job Summary Woodside Medical Practice is seeking a salaried GP to cover Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The role is part‑time with 4–6 sessions per week and includes duty GP rota, home visits, patient care, and participation in ongoing professional development. The practice serves a diverse patient list of 6,500 in Wensley Green, Woodside, and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
Provide GP surgeries, home visits, and medical examinations to all registered patients.
Participate in scheduled duty GP rota and private work when required.
Manage clinical correspondence, test results, and patient documentation.
Prescribe medication, respond to queries, and refer patients to secondary care.
Maintain accurate electronic records compliant with Practice protocols and QOF requirements.
Contribute to clinical governance, practice meetings, and monthly clinical reviews.
Engage with the Primary Care Health Team, external agencies, and community services.
Participate in continuing professional development during protected learning time and external events.
Qualifications Essential:
Current UK professional registration as a GP.
Previous GP experience (desired).
Desirable:
Fully qualified GP on the GP Performers List.
