We're looking for a Controls Engineer to join a high-performing team at a fast-paced, technology-driven facility operating around the clock. If you thrive on finding smart fixes and long-term solutions to technical issues in a dynamic environment, this role could be for you.
What Youll Do:
1. Rapidly diagnose and resolve live control system issues both hardware and software to keep operations running smoothly.
2. Apply your technical skills to modify PLC code, activate workarounds, and carry out temporary fixes as needed.
3. Use tools like Profibus, CAN Bus, and barcode systems to dig into problems and uncover the root causes.
4. Lead troubleshooting efforts and drive permanent solutions with a focus on continuous improvement.
5. Support critical automated systems including servo-motion, robotics, conveyors, packaging, and labelling equipment.
6. Maintain and document detailed schematics, layout drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
