A typical day in the life of a Front of House Manager Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Reception and Café Bar areas, including member service, telephone enquiries, and administrative tasks Leading and supporting the team through effective staff management, including scheduling, training, and performance development. Delivering exceptional customer service by confidently handling enquiries, complaints, and feedback, while ensuring high standards are maintained across the team. Managing stock control processes, including ordering, inventory tracking, and waste management, to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations. Creating a positive, collaborative team culture within the department and across the wider club. Working proactively towards commercial targets and playing a key role in driving revenue and profitability. Participating in Duty Management responsibilities, including flexible shift patterns and supporting all areas of the club as required. Ensuring full compliance with food hygiene and allergen protocols in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Taking a lead role in club events and initiatives that enhance member retention, engagement, and overall experience. Upholding Health & Safety standards and ensuring adherence to all company policies and procedures. What we are looking for: Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within customer service or hospitality environment. L2 Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences. Good organisational and multitasking abilities. The ability to establish rapport, build trust and demonstrate credibility. Basic financial acumen and experience with budgeting and reporting. Proficient in computer systems Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Hours can be 5.30am starts to 10.30pm finishes.
