About the role:

At Northumberland County Council, we take pride in our dedicated employees who are passionate about improving the lives of adults in our communities, ensuring they feel safe, healthy, happy, and independent. Our dedicated AMHP team is led by a single point of contact for all daytime Mental Health Act assessments across the county, ensuring consistency and collaboration.

What makes this role unique?

* Follow patients through their full journey, from hospital admission to discharge and reintegration into the community.
* Work four days per week, including one 8.00am – 8.00pm shift.
* Carry a small, focused inpatient caseload to maintain quality and continuity of care.
* Apply your professional skills in complex ethical and legislative contexts.

* Enthusiastic, qualified AMHP’s with a commitment to continuous development.
* Flexibility to work four days per week

For this position you must have the following:

* Degree in Social Work & registered with Social Work England.
* AMHP Qualification
* Successfully completed the UK Skills for Care ASYE programme
* It is an essential requirement of the role that the post holder has a valid UK driving licence and is either a car owner and is able to use the car for work purposes.
