What you will do:
* Conduct assessments and interventions tailored to children in a specialist school setting.
* Deliver customised therapy for children with profound and complex disabilities.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educational staff to develop care plans.
* Guide school staff on strategies and equipment to support students’ needs.
* Monitor and review pupil progress, adjusting therapy plans accordingly.
* Maintain accurate records, adhering to professional standards.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to service development.
* Foster a person-centred, inclusive, and therapeutic environment for each child.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in paediatric occupational therapy, preferably in a special school or similar setting.
* Deep understanding of children with severe and complex disabilities.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Strong organisational skills for managing a diverse caseload.
* Driving license is preferred due to travel requirements between sites.
