Job Title: Financial Analyst
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

Qualification Required: ACA, ACCA, CIMA (part or fully qualified) or equivalent experience
Overview:
We're currently working with a thriving and fast-growing business based in the Bolton area to recruit a commercially focused Financial Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven finance professional to join a supportive team where your insights will directly influence business strategy and performance.
The Role:
As Financial Analyst, you'll take ownership of delivering meaningful data analysis, financial modelling, and business insights to support decision-making across the company. This role would suit someone who enjoys digging into data, spotting trends, and presenting findings to stakeholders in a clear and impactful way.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Produce detailed financial and commercial analysis to support business strategy
2. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes
3. Perform variance analysis and KPI reporting across departments and product lines
4. Build and maintain financial models and dashboards
5. Partner with non-finance teams to provide financial insight and challenge assumptions
6. Support month-end and year-end processes with relevant data and analysis
7. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
8. Contribute to ongoing improvements in reporting processes and tools
The Ideal Candidate:
1. ACA, ACCA, or CIMA part or fully qualified (or QBE with relevant experience)
2. Background in a similar financial analysis or commercial finance role
3. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualisation tools is advantageous
4. Commercially aware with strong attention to detail
5. Strong communicator, able to present data clearly to a non-financial audience
6. Proactive, curious, and confident working independently
