The new Operations Director will be a key member of our team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational aspects of our commercial cleaning services. This role will take direct responsibility for key client relationships across London and into the Home Counties, and is crucial for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction, and driving business growth. The Operations Director will oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial cleaning contracts, including offices, co-working spaces, schools, warehouses, and restaurants.
* Team Management: Lead, manage, and scale cleaning teams across multiple locations. Ensure that teams are well-coordinated, highly efficient, and effectively meeting the needs of our clients.
* Contract set up and management: Oversee the technical setup and ongoing management of new cleaning contracts, including the procurement and application of appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment. Initiate and supervise onsite training to ensure all cleaners are adept in handling site-specific requirements and safety protocols. Develop and enforce rigorous quality control measures and adjust operational strategies based on real-time feedback to guarantee superior service delivery and client satisfaction.
* Training & Onboarding: Develop and implement training programs for new hires. Ensure that all team members are well-prepared to meet the company's standards of service.
* Operational Strategy: As we scale up our operations, build out and manage a robust operational team capable of supporting business expansion. Streamline processes and implement best practices across all teams.
* Quoting & Contracting: Assist in quoting for new contracts by estimating labor hours, equipment needs, and overall cost. Work closely with clients to tailor services to their specific requirements.
* Supply Chain Management: Oversee the procurement and management of cleaning supplies and equipment. Establish and maintain good relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and cost-efficiency.
* Quality Assurance: Drive operational excellence by implementing systems and processes that enhance service quality. Regularly assess operational procedures and make improvements where necessary.
* Client Satisfaction: Ensure that all clients are consistently satisfied with the services provided. Address any client concerns swiftly and effectively to maintain high service standards.
