Description
Our client, a leading Tier 1 contractor, has retained our services to appoint an Operations Director to oversee a £2bn portfolio within a major transmission and distribution framework, with construction scheduled to commence in mid-2025 and continue through to 2030.
Responsibilities
* Manage and optimise project delivery across multiple sites, ensuring safety, financial, and sustainability goals are met.
* Inspire and lead project teams, cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and engagement.
* Design and implement strategic initiatives that align with the company’s growth goals.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships by consistently exceeding expectations.
* Oversee project directors, operational leads, and commercial teams to ensure streamlined and efficient operations.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to advance business objectives, including work-winning and business development activities.
Skills & Experience
* Proven leadership experience in a project-focused environment, preferably within the energy or infrastructure sectors.
* Strong strategic and analytical abilities, with expertise in managing financial and operational performance.
* Exceptional communication skills, with a talent for building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* A track record of driving safety standards and promoting sustainability initiatives.
