We are recruiting for a Facilities Coordinator Purpose of the job We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to support the daily operations of our office and laboratory spaces. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in facilities coordination who is looking to grow their experience in a technical, lab environment. Experience working in laboratory spaces is highly desirable but not required. Responsibilities and daily activities: · General Facilities Support o Respond to facilities-related issues and service requests across office and lab areas. o Coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs, and vendor access for building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.). o Maintain clean, functional, and safe shared spaces such as meeting rooms, break areas, and storage rooms. · Lab Support o Assist with basic support in laboratory areas, such as equipment coordination, vendor visits, and infrastructure upkeep. o Work closely with lab staff to understand needs related to layout, logistics, and facilities requests. o Safety & Compliance o Support building safety procedures, emergency response planning, and routine inspections. o Assist with documentation related to compliance, maintenance records, and safety audits. · Logistics & Inventory o Manage incoming and outgoing deliveries, including coordination of lab consumables and facility supplies. o Track and maintain key facility assets and coordinate small-scale moves or reconfigurations. Personal Experience and Qualifications needed Required: · 1-3 years of experience in a facilities, office management, or operations coordination role. · Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to multitask and respond quickly to shifting needs. · Comfortable working in a technical or scientific environment, with a hands-on approach. Desirable: · Prior experience supporting laboratory spaces · Familiarity with lab infrastructure such as HVAC, gas lines, fume hoods, or biosafety cabinets. · Exposure to EH&S practices and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, BSL, GxP environments) About CBRE Global Workplace Solutions: As one of CBRE's core global businesses, Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) provides end-to-end services to occupier clients across the entire lifecycle of a building.
