Bid Manager
Location: East Midlands (regular regional travel required)

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Bid Manager to lead the development and delivery of high-value, complex bids across regulated sectors. This is a senior, hands‑on role suited to a strong character, someone who has "done their time," understands how deals are really won, and is comfortable shaping and defining the role as the function matures.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end bid management for complex, multi-million-pound tenders (public and private sector).
* Act as the central point of coordination between sales, commercial, legal, operations, and technical teams.
* Develop winning bid strategies, value propositions, and customer‑focused solutions.
* Present confidently to senior stakeholders and prospective customers at all levels.
* Ensure full compliance with procurement regulations, contractual frameworks, and governance requirements.
* Analyse tender requirements, risks, and commercial opportunities, providing clear recommendations.
* Drive continuous improvement in bid processes, governance, and quality.
About You
* Proven Bid Manager or senior sales professional with experience in regulated sectors (waste, energy, infrastructure, defence, or public sector).
* Comfortable managing and presenting complex, high‑value propositions (£multi‑million contracts).
* A natural leader with gravitas, resilience, and the confidence to challenge constructively.
* Commercially sharp, analytical, and solution‑focused.
* Likely from a sales background, with deep bid and tender experience.
* Motivated by autonomy and the opportunity to shape and define a critical role.
