Dean Close School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Biology to join our dynamic and well‑resourced Biology Department. This is a part time role, working part time up to 20 hours per week. You will be joining a strong team of two full‑time and three part‑time teachers, supported by a full‑time technician, delivering high‑quality Biology teaching from Year 9 through to A Level and Oxbridge preparation. The department occupies an entire floor within our Science building, featuring three modern laboratories, a preparation room, and excellent IT resources to enhance teaching and learning. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who values innovation, practical science, and exceptional pupil experience. You will be responsible for Deliver engaging and effective Biology lessons to pupils in Years 9–13. Contribute positively to department meetings and collaborative planning. Support the Head of Department with delegated tasks. The successful candidate would have a Degree in Biology or a closely related field, and they would have proven experience in teaching Biology up to A Level.
