Mencap is seeking a passionate Female Support Worker to join our incredible team in Whitley Bay for 20 hours per week with the possibility of sleep ins if interested.
As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will support three elderly ladies who enjoy spending time together and having social interactions. They love going for a coffee, going to the cinema and going out for meals twice a week. There is no challenging behaviour at the service. From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life.

Shift times :
All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 6 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!
· Sleep Ins: 09:30 - 22:00 Sleep In 07:00 - 10:00
There is a sleep-in available where you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
