We are looking for a seasonal receptionist who is naturally warm and welcoming. The ideal candidate will be articulate, with reservations and administrative duties, possess a 'can do' attitude, and look for ways to enhance the guest experience. Hours range from 8 to 16 per week, including weekends.
The role involves managing the day-to-day tasks of a hotel receptionist, ensuring procedural standards are met, with good telephony skills and a good level of numeracy for balancing payments. Experience with IT, EPOS, and PDQ machines is required, as many reservations are made online.
You should be calm, methodical, and understand the operational workings of the hotel. Excellent communication skills are essential to coordinate effectively with your team and meet guest needs. A smart, presentable manner and a passion for providing excellent service are also important.
