Role: Pastoral Support Assistant

You’ll help us meet our young peoples’ emotional needs. Our young people have challenging complex emotional and behavioural needs, including Autistic Spectrum Disorder, SEMH, and more. You’ll ensure they receive high standards of care by working with families and developing individualized programs. Through careful assessment and planning, you’ll create a positive learning environment where every young person can thrive.


Candidate Requirements

* Experience working with young people with BESD or ASD in educational or care settings
* Understanding of developmental needs and pastoral care
* Good listening skills, motivation, teamwork, and ability to inspire
* Flexibility and strong organizational skills

Qualifications and Experience

* Experience with ASC, ADHD, or SEMH pupils and working with families in challenging circumstances
* Experience with multi-agency work, safeguarding, and child protection policies
* NVQ 3 in Care or Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred)
