Overview
Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Includes Service Shops. Impacts departmental operations and is responsible for planning and execution. The role has some autonomy but focuses on execution within standard practices and procedures.
Responsibilities
* Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees.
* Typically managing hourly employee populations.
* Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline.
* Apply prior experience and technical expertise to execute policy and strategy.
* Understand key business drivers and use this knowledge to accomplish own work.
* Use judgment to propose different solutions outside of set parameters with guidance.
* Access to technical skills and analytical thinking to solve problems.
* Role may be an individual contributor with strong interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent; provide informal guidance to new team members.
* Ownership of FLIGHT DECK application and sustainment within span of control.
Qualifications
* Bachelor\'s Degree from an accredited college or university (or high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing).
* Minimum of 3 years of Manufacturing experience; experience in Hot/Cold Forming is desirable.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
* Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
* Established project management skills.
* Experience in diverse manufacturing environments.
* Traits: Humble, transparent, focused, and collaborative; strong leadership and decision-making abilities; problem-solving mindset.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $83,800.00 – 112,000 USD annually. The specific offer may be influenced by experience, education, and work location. This position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive plan.
