Site Foreman/ Manager An established and reputable civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Foreman/Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role involves the delivery of infrastructure projects in the Moray area of Scotland, with full responsibility for site operations, safety, quality, and programme performance. You will take a hands-on leadership role, coordinating site activities from mobilisation through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. The position suits a proactive individual who can lead teams effectively while maintaining strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee all on-site activities from project start through to final handover Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, plant, and materials to ensure smooth delivery of works Ensure all works comply with technical specifications, drawings, and industry standards Champion health, safety, and environmental standards, promoting a strong safety culture on site Liaise closely with clients, engineers, and project managers to manage progress and resolve issues Maintain accurate site records, daily diaries, and progress reports Monitor programme performance and provide regular updates to senior management Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience in a Site Foreman and/or Site Manager role within civil engineering Background in infrastructure works such as earthworks, reinforced concrete, deep drainage, roads, and utilities Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills HNC, HND, or Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering SMSTS or SSSTS certification NRSWA Supervisor accreditation Valid 3-Day First Aid certificate CSCS Gold or Black (Management) card Full UK driving licence What’s on Offer Company vehicle Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Legal Information: We act as an employment agency for permanent work and as an employment business for temporary work.
