The Role You will take ownership of drainage, SuDS, and highways (S278/S38) projects from design through completion. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will manage project resources, liaise with clients, and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and delivery of civil engineering projects, including drainage, external works, and highways schemes Prepare technical reports and Flood Risk Assessments Manage project resources, budgets, and timelines Represent the consultancy at meetings with clients, architects, and local authorities Mentor and support junior engineers, providing guidance and feedback Assist with business development and fee proposals About You Degree or HND in Civil Engineering Minimum 5 years' consultancy experience Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or working towards Strong drainage design experience, including SuDS Proficient in AutoCAD, Site 3D, and software such as InfoDrainage, Causeway Flow, or MicroDrainage Experience managing multi-disciplinary projects and client relationships Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills Desirable S278/S38 highway design experience Previous line management or team leadership Business development experience Why Join This consultancy is collaborative, people-focused, and committed to technical excellence.
