Senior Commercial Disputes Associate
London – £120,000 - £140,000
Our client, a multi-national law firm, is seeking a Senior Commercial Dispute Resolution Associate to join its London-based team. The firm offers an excellent benefits package, including a pension scheme, up to 25 days’ holiday (rising to 28), private medical insurance, life assurance, income protection, and parental leave packages. They have two bonus schemes: a firm-wide bonus based on financial targets and a fee-earner bonus up to 20% of your salary based on performance, on top of a highly competitive market salary.
The London-based team advises on a wide range of high-profile international and national disputes across sectors such as TMT, financial services, energy, life sciences, and real estate. They provide practical and commercial advice at all stages of dispute resolution, from pre-contractual negotiations to complex multi-jurisdictional litigation and arbitration. The team is Legal 500 recommended for premium commercial litigation.
You will analyze cases and brief partners and the team, managing substantial disputes under supervision. You will work directly with clients, take instructions, and prepare correspondence, instructions to Counsel, pleadings, and court/arbitration documents. You will also support business development and be encouraged to develop client relationships and market profile.
Candidate Requirements
* 6+ Years PQE in Commercial Disputes (ideal 6-10 years, more experienced candidates encouraged to apply)
* Understanding of litigation, arbitration, and ADR procedures
* Ability to handle clients from blue-chip companies
* Experience across commercial areas such as TMT, Financial Services, Energy, Life Sciences, and Real Estate
* Multi-jurisdictional experience is helpful
* Strong academics, excellent communication, and advocacy skills
The salary range is £120,000 - £140,000 (subject to increase)
