An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Community Therapy Team as a Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant.
As a vital part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to delivering a patient-centred rehabilitation service, working closely with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals.

Deliver rehabilitation through therapy interventions, which may include support with personal care tasks, cognition and mobility? Carry out rehabilitation plans as delegated by occupational therapists and physiotherapists.? Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with service users, families, and the therapy team.? Be flexible to support the team during peak service times.? Participate in the 7-day service rota, including weekends, delivering rehabilitation between 8am and 8pm.
Passionate about patient care and rehabilitation.? Experience in a healthcare or therapy setting is desirable but not essential.

Good standard of education to GCSE level or equivalent including Maths and English
An understanding of manual handling principles
Evidence of self-initiated learning and a willingness to undertake training
Additional demonstrable qualities that may be beneficial to the role, e.g. care, compassion, competence, communication, courage and commitment
Flexible approach to the needs of the service
Ability to travel across the Trust to fulfil the requirements of the post.
Ability to reflect and appraise own performance
