Data & Analytics – Placement Year (13‑Month Internship)
We are looking for two students to join our Data & Analytics Centre of Competence (CoC) starting in July 2026. The role focuses on driving business transformation by turning data into real business value.
What We Do
* Understand business processes and how data relates to them, working closely with Data Stewards for each business department.
* Help the business define the problems they want to solve.
* Design data solutions to business problems.
* Develop a single source of truth for business data.
* Develop data visualisations and data science models.
* Support the business to generate value from data with self‑serve analytics.
* Protect the quality and integrity of our corporate data.
* Transform the business data culture and improve data skills.
* Look for opportunities to advance analytics capabilities through AI and Machine Learning.

Key Skills Developed During the Rotations
* Establish, plan and deliver projects to drive business transformation strategy.
* Manage Data Governance and Data Management to advance data maturity.
* Data visualisation using Qlik Sense and Quicksite.
* Databases and data warehousing using AWS cloud infrastructure.
* Prepare and model data for analytics or AI use.
* Apply Agile project methodology with JIRA and Confluence.
* Manage a data product roadmap in alignment with key stakeholders.
What Should You Bring Along?
* Studying for a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics (or related field), on track to achieve a 2:1 or above.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with senior stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Knowledge of Excel, SQL and Python is an advantage.
* Interest in data science or analytics topics.
* Ability to work independently with support or mentoring as required.
* Outgoing and confident with a professional approach.
* Ready to take responsibility and deliver against timelines.
