A highly regarded independent accountancy practice in Newbury is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Manager into a visible and genuinely broad role within the tax team. You'll work directly with entrepreneurial businesses, owner-managed companies and larger corporate groups across a mix of compliance and advisory projects, whilst also becoming a key part of the wider team's development over time. The work is varied, commercially focused and partner-led, without the rigid structure often found in larger firms. The role will involve:
* Managing a portfolio of Corporate Tax clients
* Reviewing complex Corporation Tax work
* Supporting advisory projects including restructures and planning assignments
* Building long-term client relationships
* Mentoring and supporting junior staff
* Working closely with Directors and senior leadership on wider tax matters
Qualifications
* Strong UK Corporate Tax experience within practice
* CTA qualified or equivalent experience
* Someone technically strong but commercially aware
* A confident communicator who enjoys client interaction
* An individual who wants to keep developing rather than standing still
