Events Specialist

A leading, global insurance business is looking for an Events Specialist to join their Brand, Marketing & Communications team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This is a brilliant opportunity to be part of a high-performing, creative team delivering a wide range of high-profile events across an international business.
The role
You'll support the planning and delivery of a diverse events programme, from corporate hospitality and sponsorship activations to thought leadership events and large-scale functions.
Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting the delivery of a busy international events calendar
• Coordinating end-to-end event logistics – venues, suppliers, catering, AV and theming
• Assisting with high-profile sponsorship activations (including partnerships such as Goodwood and the O2)
• Managing event documentation including timelines, proposals and budgets
• Handling multiple inboxes, ticketing and guest coordination
• Working closely with internal creative teams and external agencies
• Supporting event reporting and performance tracking
About you
• Previous experience in events coordination or event management
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Confident working with a range of stakeholders, including senior leadership
• Proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused
• Flexible approach to working hours when required for events
