Join Our Team as a Senior Project Quantity Surveyor!
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Quantity Surveyor to become a vital part of our commercial team, working on the transformative HMP Glasgow project, located just north of Glasgow city. This is your chance to contribute to a major project valued at over £200M, focusing on the innovative ‘house block’ elements comprising five buildings, all delivered using Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) methodology.

Location: Glasgow, HMP Glasgow Project Site
Hours: Full Time, Permanent (flexible options available)
Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Project Quantity Surveyor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Organizing the division of project work into component work packages for procurement.
* Negotiating with the sub-contractor supply chain to achieve the best value.
* Managing applications for payment from sub-contractors.
* Preparing information for client payment applications.
* Monitoring and measuring actual expenditure against budgeted project costs through Cost Value Reconciliation Reports (CVR).
* Preparing final accounts.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Hold a degree (or equivalent) qualification in Quantity Surveying.
* Have substantial quantity surveying experience at a senior level on large construction projects within a main contractor environment.
* Possess a solid understanding of SBCC, NEC, and JCT contract conditions.
* Are comfortable engaging with client representatives, sub-contractors, and internal stakeholders.
* Can mentor and oversee junior commercial staff.
* Hold a full UK Driving License.
