Location: Field based within the territory.
Job Title: Business Development Executive, full-time.
Salary: Competitive, negotiable salary with open-ended commission based on experience.
The successful candidate will be provided with a company car (electric vehicle). If the applicant already leases their own vehicle, a contribution towards that lease and a mileage allowance will be considered.

Based in South Gloucestershire, de Smit Medical distributes innovative medical devices and consumables for pelvic health (urinary and fecal incontinence). The company offers clinical, technical, and user training through the de Smit Medical Learning Academy and is committed to reducing CO2 emissions aligning with the NHS Net Zero agenda. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the role is field-based within the territory, joining a talented and growing sales team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales professional to join a reputable, innovative company and to contribute to growth by consolidating existing clients and expanding market presence.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Located within the territory (essential)
* Qualified to at least A-level standard or equivalent
* Proven sales experience in medical devices is advantageous, preferably in Primary and Secondary Care markets. Candidates with a strong clinical or medical technical background and sales aptitude will also be considered.
* Winning mentality, tenacity, self-motivation, and eagerness to learn
* Professional appearance and excellent communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to travel and work occasional weekends
The applicant must be eligible to work in the UK long-term, hold a valid UK driving license, and undergo MIA accreditation, DBS check, and other relevant certifications.
