Join the Cornish Seal Sanctuary as a Trainee Animal Care Specialist and get hands-on experience in the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of grey seal pups and other marine life. Key Responsibilities: Assist with daily animal husbandry and the care of resident wildlife, including seal pups and marine mammals. Contribute to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release efforts for grey seal pups in distress. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of animal enclosures, plant systems and life support equipment. Educate the public on the importance of wildlife conservation and the animals in our care. Support the team with husbandry training, enrichment, and the development of animal welfare protocols. What You’ll Gain: Intensive, hands-on training in wildlife management and animal rehabilitation. Develop key skills in husbandry, plant maintenance, and wildlife health.
