About the Role
Reporting to: Business Development Director
Responsibilities
* Lead the development, execution, and continuous improvement of the overall marketing strategy.
* Deliver integrated marketing campaigns that highlight our generator solutions and communicate our values of trust and quality.
* Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints—messaging, tone of voice, and visual identity—to strengthen recognition across diverse market sectors.
* Develop and implement a user experience UX strategy to ensure our website and digital channels are impactful, accessible, and customer-centric.
* Oversee agency relationships and external partnerships to support creative, digital, and strategic execution as needed.
* Manage and optimize the marketing budget to maximize ROI through data-driven decisions.
* Lead both internal and external communications to build trust, reinforce our Employee Ownership Trust EOT culture, and improve employee engagement.
* Continuously refine the marketing mix—including SEO, PPC, video, content, and social media—to keep our brand fresh and competitive.
* Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends and strategic opportunities.
* Design storytelling campaigns that showcase team expertise and build long-lasting customer relationships.
* Monitor customer satisfaction using tools like Net Promoter Score (NPS) and use feedback to shape marketing and UX improvements.
* Manage and mentor a small team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and professional development.
Qualifications
* Degree in Marketing or a related discipline.
Required Skills
* Minimum 5 years in a B2B marketing role.
* Experience leading a marketing team with measurable results.
* Strong background in digital marketing, campaign strategy, and content creation.
* Proven success in driving brand growth and lead generation across multiple channels.
* Prior experience in the generator or industrial product sector is highly desirable.
* Deep understanding of the full marketing mix and customer lifecycle.
* Proficiency in SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and inform strategy.
* Excellent communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
* Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Pay range and compensation package
Salary: Up to £50,000
