Patch Manager Location: Belfast Hours of work: Monday - Friday / 9am - 5pm (37.5 hours p/w) Salary: 16.37 p/h Duration: Temporary ongoing Job Purpose We're looking for a Patch Manager to deliver a customer-focused housing management service across a designated neighbourhood. You'll play a key role in sustaining tenancies, managing estates, supporting communities, and ensuring safe, well-maintained neighbourhoods. This is a front-line role where you'll work closely with tenants, residents, and external agencies to help create thriving and sustainable communities. Key Responsibilities Your work will cover two main areas: Tenancy Management & Sustainment Manage new, existing and ending tenancies (including voids, transfers, successions, and exchanges). Support tenants to sustain their homes, offering advice on housing, rent, money management, and connecting with support agencies. Handle tenancy issues including anti-social behaviour, arrears, and tenancy fraud. Work to prevent homelessness and support vulnerable tenants. Estate Management Ensure estates are safe, well-maintained and sustainable. Liaise with contractors and tenants on planned maintenance and improvement works. Promote community involvement, cohesion, and safety, including tackling anti-social behaviour. Represent the client in the community and engage with local stakeholders. Essential Criteria: Experience in a customer-focused environment delivering high-quality service. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage a varied workload. Confidence in working with partners, building networks, and resolving issues. Excellent communication skills, especially in challenging situations. A full UK driving licence (or access to transport). Qualifications (one of the following): Degree (Level 6) + 1 year relevant experience, OR BTEC Higher Cert/Diploma in Housing (Level 5) + 1 year relevant experience, OR BTEC Higher Cert/Diploma (Level 5) or equivalent + 2 years relevant experience, OR Equivalent professional development + 3 years relevant experience.
