Join JLR as a Senior ADAS Defect & Triage Product Owner and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of assisted and automated driving. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead critical work within one of the most advanced and fast‑evolving areas of our engineering organisation, taking ownership of how software issues are identified, assessed and resolved across our next‑generation vehicle platforms.


In this role, you’ll work at the heart of our ADAS function, guiding the triage and prioritisation of complex software, system and ECU‑related challenges. You’ll collaborate with a wide range of talented engineers, suppliers and senior stakeholders, ensuring the right issues land with the right teams at the right time — driving quality, efficiency and continuous improvement across our platforms.

WHAT TO EXPECT


In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality outcomes and supporting the wider team through a range of responsibilities, including –


* Lead the delivery and performance of the ADAS triage squad, ensuring high‑quality product outcomes
* Own and maintain the short‑, medium‑ and long‑term product roadmap, adjusting priorities with stakeholders using Agile ways of working
* Present and secure agreement on quarterly development proposals with senior leaders across the business
* Manage suppliers on planning, risk, delivery reporting and programme‑level updates for senior forums
* Drive the resolution of technical conflicts and defects, ensuring solutions meet product targets and system requirements
* Communicate priorities, timelines and acceptance criteria clearly, while maintaining accurate defect dashboards, KPIs and backlog refinement
* Collaborate across product groups and Agile teams, promoting continuous improvement and acting as a key contact for technical discussions and milestone delivery


WHAT YOU’LL NEED


To thrive in this role, you’ll bring a solid background, relevant certifications, and the following key skills –


* Degree in Software Engineering, IT or a related technical discipline
* Hands‑on experience working with Autosar and POSIX platforms in a technical engineering environment
* Background in Product Management, Product Development, Product Ownership or engineering delivery roles
* Excellent communication skills, able to engage effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders
* Proven track record delivering software using Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban or SAFe
* Experience in software development or acting as a technical lead within complex engineering programmes
* Strong capability in managing and resolving system and software issues, alongside supplier management, project planning, risk assessment and senior‑level reporting
