The Role An established electro-mechanical engineering business is seeking a full-time Internal Sales Engineer to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a technical background who enjoys customer interaction, or a sales professional with experience in an engineering or industrial environment. You will act as the main internal point of contact for customers, supporting both existing accounts and new enquiries, while working closely with external sales and the workshop team. Key Responsibilities * Handling inbound sales and technical enquiries * Promoting products and services to industrial customers * Preparing quotations and processing orders using an internal sales system * Supporting repair and service enquiries * Providing internal support to the external sales function * Assisting with general office and operational duties as required About You You’ll be a proactive, hands-on individual with a genuine interest in the electro-mechanical sector. The role would suit someone who enjoys combining technical knowledge with commercial awareness. We’re open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, including: * Internal Sales / Sales Engineer roles * Technical or Engineering roles looking to move into sales * Mechanical or Electrical engineering environments Ideal experience includes: * Previous sales experience (internal or external) * Exposure to electric motors, mechanical engineering, or industrial equipment * Confidence dealing with customers and technical enquiries Hours: * Mon–Thu: 8:00am – 4:30pm * Fri: 8:00am – 4:00pm Full training and development will be provided, with clear opportunities for progression as your experience grows.
