An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Shift Fitter to join our Engineering Team at our Slatyford Depot in Newcastle upon Tyne.
At Stagecoach North East, we operate over 400 vehicles, connecting our passengers across Tyne and Wear and Teesside, with our engineering teams playing a fundamental role in ensuring our vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. Our depot at Slatyford is a purpose-built facility, operating 90 buses.
The successful candidate will play a key role within our maintenance team to ensure our vehicles are maintained and repaired, remaining available, roadworthy, and reliable for our customers at all times.
This is a shift-based role, with shifts any 5 days over 7, which will be discussed at interview.
A PCV licence is preferred but not essential as training will be provided as required.
NVQ Level 3 in a relevant subject is essential.
Salary: Potential to earn £32k - £38k per year with some overtime working.
