Working hours/FTE Working hours are 8.45am to 3.15pm: 30 hours per week, grade F, point 7-10, 39 weeks per year. Starting salary approximately £18,331 to £19,538 per annum. This role includes supporting children at lunchtime so a lunch break will be allocated either side of the pupil lunch hour. Candidates must be able to support children who have mild–severe learning difficulties, emotional and behavioural difficulties. An ideal candidate will have the following experience and areas of expertise: • Experience in working in a Primary School environment • A genuine interest and enthusiasm for supporting children with SEN • Actively promote and support our inclusion ethos • Be able to provide personal care in line with an EHCP • Knowledge and experience of using Makaton (not essential) • A genuine interest and enthusiasm in making a positive difference In addition, the right candidate will have the ability and flexibility to support all pupils in the classroom environment, but also small groups or focused 1:1, for accelerated progress.
