HARP (Haweswater Aqueduct Resilience Programme) is our largest capital project, involving the replacement of 6 tunnel sections along the aqueduct. This multi-billion pound project aims to secure drinking water supplies to millions and leave a lasting legacy.

The role
We seek a visionary Senior Project Engineer to contribute to the HARP project. You will interface with designers, constructors, operations, and assure project delivery. Responsibilities include onboarding delivery partners, design development, technical support, and leadership during outages and connections. This role requires driving technical excellence and seamless integration across engineering domains.
You will have visibility of major contracts and industry partners, witnessing project construction and impacting our success. Stakeholder engagement and relationship management are key. Key accountabilities
* Collaborate with teams to ensure successful engineering outcomes
* Lead project reviews and improve engineering processes
* Create and implement project engineering plans
* Represent engineering interests and manage risks
Skills & experience
Essential criteria include:
* Chartered or Incorporated Engineer or equivalent experience
* Experience providing technical advice and leading multidisciplinary projects
* Valid UK/EU driving license
