The Role
We have a brand-new opportunity for a Level 4 Apprentice Electrical Power Networks Engineer, to join our team, supporting a number of exciting projects for SSE in the South East.
Clancy is a great place to start your career, as we’re a corporate member of the AOA (Association of Apprentices), that connects apprentices across the UK via a dedicated social and professional networking platform.
Here are some of the activities you’ll get involved with...
1. Analysing data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities
2. Designing complex distribution infrastructure, including Substations, Cable Systems and Overhead Lines.
3. Using tools like AutoCad and Revit.
4. Visiting sites to gather on the ground knowledge of constructability, areas of engineering difficulty and key risks.
What you need…
5. At least Five GCSEs at grade C/4 (or above) which must include English, Maths and Science
6. Level 3 qualification in Engineering or A Levels in Maths and Physics
7. A full UK driving license as you will be required to attend site visits
In return, we will offer you...
8. Support throughout the apprenticeship, to help you achieve a fully funded Level 4 recognised Electrical Power Networks Engineer qualification.
9. Upon successful completion of your Level 4 qualification, you will have the opportunity to continue achieving qualifications and eventually becoming chartered.
