This position is critical for protecting the organization’s sponsor license, enabling access to global talent and the fulfilment of the Church’s mission in the United Kingdom by allowing area presidencies, missions presidents, temple presidents and full‑time missionaries to serve in the country. It is a career‑professional individual contributor reporting to a manager.

Responsibilities

* Coordinate the full visa process for skilled workers (sponsored employees), ministers of religion area presidency, mission presidents, temple presidents, missionary training centre (MTC) presidents and religious workers (full‑time missionaries): certificates of sponsorship (CoS) issuance, visa documentation support, and onboarding.

* Monitor visa expiry dates and right‑to‑work documentation for all sponsored staff and others.
* Keep thorough, auditable records as per Home Office requirements.
* Prepare for and support United Kingdom Visas and Immigration (UKVI) compliance visits, internal audits, and respond to requests for information.
* Mitigate risk by identifying and escalating potential non‑compliance issues proactively.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for all queries related to sponsored visas from employees, hiring managers, mission presidents, stake presidents and other ecclesiastical leaders.
* Provide guidance and updates throughout the visa and extension process.
* Work closely with Office of General Counsel (OGC), Missionary Department, in‑field representatives and MTCs on complex immigration cases.
* Liaise with Human Resources (HR) and OGC to ensure alignment in processes.
* Keep up to date with changes in UK immigration law and assess their impact on internal policies.
* Recommend and implement improvements to the sponsorship and compliance process.
* Contribute to internal immigration‑related training and documentation for HR and hiring managers.

Qualifications

* Strong commitment with the mission and values of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑day Saints.

* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
