This is an exciting opportunity for a practical, organised, and proactive individual who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and supporting students’ technical learning. Role Overview You will work closely with the DT teaching team to ensure that workshops, tools, machinery, and resources are fully prepared, well-maintained, and safely operated. The role involves: Preparing materials for Resistant Materials, Graphics, Product Design, Engineering and related DT subjects Supporting teachers during practical lessons Maintaining equipment and machinery to required safety standards Ensuring safe storage and handling of tools, components, and consumables Organising stock, ordering supplies, and monitoring inventory Helping students develop confidence using workshop equipment This role suits someone with a technical or workshop background who enjoys problem-solving, planning ahead, and contributing to a creative, practical learning environment.
