Finstech is partnering with their public sector client in Ipswich to find an experienced Fire Safety Manager at a truly exciting time. Our client is mid-way through a £10 million fire safety improvement programme across a portfolio of 7,800 homes and 15 sheltered schemes ? and they need the right expert to lead it.

This is a senior, high-impact role with real influence, a significant budget and the opportunity to shape fire safety strategy from the ground up.
What You'll Be Doing
* Acting as principal Duty Holder for fire safety across the entire housing portfolio
* Leading and developing a team of Fire Safety Surveyors
* Managing a £10m improvement programme, supplier contracts and procurement
* Developing and implementing fire safety strategies, policies and site-specific plans
* Conducting and overseeing Fire Risk Assessments across all properties
* Serving as the primary liaison with Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service
* Ensuring full compliance with the Fire Safety Order 2005, Fire Safety Act 2021 and Building Safety Act 2022
* Reporting performance to senior management and elected members
What We're Looking For
* Relevant fire safety qualifications (IFE, NEBOSH Fire, Level 4 FRA or equivalent)
* Proven experience in a senior fire safety role, ideally within social housing or the public sector
* Strong knowledge of current fire safety legislation
* Experience xsngvjr managing budgets, contracts and multi-disciplinary teams
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
