JOB TITLE – Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Prospero Teaching is seeking a qualified and experienced HLTA to join a thriving Primary School in South Bristol.

Depending on performance, there may be opportunities to extend the contract or secure a permanent role.
CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS
1. Location: South Bristol
2. Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
3. Full-Time: Monday to Friday
4. Day Rate: £100 – £130 per day
5. Hours: 8:20am – 3:30pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS (MANDATORY)
6. HLTA qualification (required)
7. Proven experience working as an HLTA within a UK school
8. Experience leading small groups and covering whole-class teaching when required
9. Strong understanding of the national curriculum
10. Up-to-date safeguarding training (within the last 12 months)
11. Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
12. Hold the Right to Work in the UK
13. Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
14. Provide two professional references covering the last two years, including a school-based reference
