We are looking for an experienced conveyancing fee earner to join our fast paced Conveyancing team. You will be required to undertake fee earning work in Conveyancing, providing expert legal support and advice and administering all aspects of Conveyancing on behalf of clients, including sales, purchases, transfers and remortgages, from onboarding through to post completion. You will also be required to supervise a paralegal who will support you in the delivery of your caseload
You will be required to ensure that work carried out is to a high standard, is regulatory compliant and is performed in a professional and responsive manner, which will enhance the firm’s reputation and is consistent with the high-quality service that we are committed to providing.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities for the role are as listed below:
* Manage an agreed caseload of clients, providing appropriate advice and assistance in line with regulatory standards and internal processes.
* To process cases on a timely and cost-effective basis.
* To ensure that billing takes place promptly and that outstanding balances are collected as soon as feasible.
* To develop and maintain good client and commercial contact relationships and enhance the firm's client base by effective liaison with existing clients, agents and introducers.
* To use the correct procedures and systems in order to manage cases effectively and in accordance with the firm's standards and legal requirements.
* To manage own work allocation, productivity and quality of work with minimum supervision.
* To achieve all individual new business, financial and completion targets.
* To maximise the potential to cross-sell our group services by identifying appropriate opportunities.
Experience
* Experience in all areas of residential conveyancing ( PQE Solicitor/Legal Executive is desirable)
* Proven track record in delivery and attainment of individual and group targets
* Evidence of management of support staff
* Client Relationships
* Some commercial conveyancing experience would be beneficial nit not essential
Knowledge
* Knowledge of case management software
