The Role
As Assistant Site Manager, you will support the Site Manager in the day-to-day running of a busy residential development. You will play a key role in ensuring plots are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the management of sub-contractors on site
2. Assisting with programme coordination and daily site activities
3. Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained and enforced
4. Conducting quality inspections and snagging
5. Monitoring build progress against programme targets
6. Assisting with NHBC inspections and handovers
7. Maintaining site records and documentation
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
8. SMSTS
9. CSCS Card
10. First Aid at Work
11. Full UK Driving Licence
Experience Required:
12. Minimum 2+ years’ experience in new build housing
13. Experience working on traditional build residential developments
14. Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
15. Good organisational and communication skills
16. Ability to work well within a team environment
