About Our Nursery
Our beautiful 'Outstanding' rated nursery is based in a three-story Victorian townhouse, set back from the road and opposite the beautiful York Racecourse. Buses run frequently in and out of the city, with a bus stop directly outside the nursery. We also have a spacious car park. One of the most popular aspects of our nursery is the large woodland area we enjoy at the back of the nursey. This is where our ethos comes to life and the children can engage in Forest School classes, planting organic fruit and vegetables which can be eaten once they’ve grown.
What Your Role Involves
As a valued member of our team, you’ll:
* Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
* Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
* Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
* Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
* Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
* Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others
Ready to make a difference? Apply today - we can't wait to hear from you!
The Old Station Nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and we expect all applicants to share this commitment.
